Welcome to QiLinChat!

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at qilinchat.com and the QiLinChat no-code chatbot builder (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

QiLinChat lets you build no-code chatbots that collect responses as conversations and sync them into tools such as Notion and Google Sheets, with notifications via Slack, email, and Discord. We offer a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Team) with additional features.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure. Sign-in is passwordless via a link or code sent to your email. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any applicable law or regulation;
- send spam or unsolicited messages, or run phishing, scams, or malware;
- collect personal information unlawfully or without the notices and consents required of you;
- infringe others' intellectual property or privacy rights; or
- disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.

You are solely responsible for the chatbots you create and the data you collect through them, and for complying with all laws that apply to that data (including privacy and data-protection laws).

4. Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of the chatbots you create and the responses you collect through them. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. As between you and us, you are the controller of the end-user data you collect and QiLinChat is your processor.

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service connects to third-party tools you choose (such as Notion, Google Sheets, Slack, Discord, and OpenAI). Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for any costs you incur with them — including usage of your own OpenAI API key for AI-powered chatbots. We are not responsible for third-party services.

6. Plans, Billing, and Refunds

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

You may request a refund within 7 days of a purchase by opening the feedback button in your dashboard and choosing "Refund request." You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing them before relying on them.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QiLinChat will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold QiLinChat harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, the chatbots you create, the data you collect, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date, and we may notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
